Mole•Bot 为智能网关增添生命感与趣味

Mole•Bot is an exploratory experiment that uses the principles of bionic robot to create a sense of life in an intelligent body. By simulating emotional expression through color, vibration and sound effects and creating contingency, it achieves a "natural" life state by improving the interaction and communication between humans and robots, adding a sense of life.

 Mole•Bot是一项运用仿生设计的原理营造智能体生命感的探索试验,通过改善人与机器人的沟通交互方式,如运用颜色、震动与音效模拟情绪表露并通过偶发事件的创造改良智能生命体的”不完美“,为智能体增添生命感。

Inspired by the behavior of how moles observe the world from mounds, it is designed carefully by learning the decomposition action of mole probes. When the head infrared sensor is triggered, Mole•bot will act as a vital body central sending signals to the accessory products. Mole Bot also simulates Robot Gaze through color, sound, and vibration to express attention. Through deep learning of environment it stayed, Mole•bot creates contingency outside the specified scope but within the regulated scope, such as modal particles (oops), holiday/anniversary atmosphere song playback. Mole bot achieved "sense of life" of robot by emotion express and contingency, and uses non-verbal interaction methods to achieve a state of natural communication.

受到鼹鼠探头观察世界的启发,通过对鼹鼠探头行为细致的观察而设计。当触发头部红外传感器时,Mole•bot会作为生命体中枢给附属产品发送信号,深度学习所处环境的同时通过颜色、声音和震动的多感官交互模式模拟机器凝视,表达关注。同时增加了机器学习用户生活习惯,通过在制定活动范围外且规定范围内制造偶发事件,如语气词(哎呀)、节日/纪念日氛围歌曲播放增添智能体“生命感“,高效完成工作的同时利用非语言交互方法达到自然交流的状态。

优点:

1.使人获得安全感; 2.交互方式很有意思; 3.指向性可以更好辅助用户决策。

待改进:

1.软件平台体量不大,可以和硬件更协调; 2.头部指向不够明确;3.舵机旋转不够灵活。

Advantages:

1.Make people feel safe. 2.Interaction is very interesting. 3.Directivity can better assist users in making decisions

To be improved:

1.he software platform is not large and can be more coordinated with the hardware. 2.Head pointing is not clear enough. 3.The steering gear is not flexible enough.

We developed a platform transforms UI interface into robot controller, helping designers build interactive prototype in a visual way, and this can also be applied to usability evaluation and sensor-based products development. Now it is open Source on Github.

我们开发了一个将UI界面转换为机器人控制器的平台,以帮助设计人员以可视方式构建交互式原型,该平台也可以应用于可用性评估和基于传感器的产品开发。

现已经在Github上开源。

本项目为3人合作项目

个人职责:

  1. 组织参与前期调研及头脑风暴,与小组共同为“智能体的不完美而设计”话题展开研究和原型设计。

  2. 制定交互流程及惊喜场景效果,从而实现智能产品的”趣味化“。

  3. 负责产品工业设计、装配结构设计,并完成渲染、效果图创作。

  4. 负责产品交互界面设计及高保真原型制作,同时开发Arduino代码联动UI界面与机器人原型。

  5. 与ProtoPie软件方技术人员合作完成早期版本硬件产品交互原型方案设计,为设计师设计一套友好的硬件交互原型开发工具流,并将方案开源于GitHub平台。
